It would be helped to have a "zoomed out" shot that shows the entire lock, including how it locks to a post.

I also just noticed that you actually like to the product website. Your link style does not include an underline and the formatting difference was subtle enough I didn't catch there was a link there at all on the first read through.

Good to know this product is Yuba-compatible!

the stand takes a lot of shock when it snaps up- I've tried padding it with different things- inner tube rubber works best- but doesn't last- I've been using my foot so it doesn't slam so hard- after reading the article- I checked, and they were loose and ready to come off- caught it just in time-my V3 has Boo-Coo miles- and need the stand alone big time- I'll pick the nuts and bolts- thanks for posting

If it makes you feel better, I bike commute into DC probably on average 4 out of 5 work days a year. I ride by the White House every time and they never care about me going through the movable type bollards. ONE time when I went a little further down the elipse and past a parked Secret Service SUV to get out (I had a softball game across the street on the Mall), an agent went nuts. She literally jumped in front of me (bare in mind that Constitution Avenue is about 3 feet away...so this isn't like i'm in some super-secure area) and demanded I get off my bike and come back across 5 feet away via the sidewalk. I said that's insane and also illegal to ride on the sidewalk. She kept screaming and I decided it wasn't worth antagonizing her more because I had 0 doubt she would arrest me and impound my bike as part of her crazy streak. So I literally hopped off the bike, walked around a total of 12 feet and was back in the exact same spot I had just been in to continue the commute.

(I should add normally the SS agents are cool and very accomodating to cyclists in the area. In fact, besides this one insane agent, the only complaint I have ever had is that they never have lights on their bicycles at night despite it being local law).
